Heiko Krumm
studied Computer Science at the University of
Karlsruhe (diploma in 1978, Ph.D. in 1984). He worked in the
Institute of Telematics of Karlsruhe University in the field of
formal specification, implementation, and verification of
communication systems. Since 1990, he is professor for Computer
Networks and Distributed Systems at the Faculty for Informatics of the University of Dortmund,
retired since 1st of August, 2019.
Research interests include architectures, platforms, and design
assistance for distributed applications. Moreover, current work
concerns automated management and security of distributed
systems.
